The Pan Caribbean Martial Arts Championship World Games is the Premier Martial Arts Events of the Caribbean since 2005.

Divisions

Open Forms

Practitioners of various styles can compete using their own forms or kata, without restrictions on the specific style

Traditional Forms

Practitioners of various styles can compete using prearranged sequences of movements that simulate combat against imaginary opponents

Tang Soo Do Hyung

Choreographed, traditional martial arts patterns (forms) used to practice techniques, conditioning, focus, and muscle memory. These forms include various stances, blocks, and strikes performed in specific sequences, representing a "living" history of Korean and Chinese martial arts.

Taekwondo Poomsae

Standardized, pre-arranged sequences of defense-and-attack movements. Common moves include low blocks (arae maki), middle/high blocks, front kicks, and punching, often starting in a walking or front stance.

Grappling

A fighting technique based on throws, trips, sweeps, clinch fighting, ground fighting and submission holds.

Padded Sports Weapons

Encompasses a wide array of weapon types and the techniques associated with them.

Kumite (Sparring)

Competitive event with specific rules and scoring systems, often involving light or semi-contact. 

Traditional Kung Fu

Chinese martial arts encompassing hundreds of styles developed over centuries, prioritizing discipline, patience, and mastery.

Jumping Front Kick

A technique where a kick is executed mid-air after a jump. It involves lifting the kicking leg and jumping off the other foot to gain height and momentum for the strike.

Flying Side Kick

A dynamic martial arts move where a practitioner takes a running jump, then performs a side kick in mid-air, landing on the non-kicking leg.

Team Sparring

Involves two or more teams competing against each other in a sparring format, within a martial arts context

Light Kick Boxing

Competitors focus on speed, precision, and technique rather than overpowering the opponent.

General Information

You must bring your own equipment. There will NOT be any available for purchase.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

Soft, foam type equipment & mouthpiece are mandatory in all divisions. Boys/men must wear groin protectors. Regulations karate/ kung fu uniforms must be worn with sleeves reaching the elbow. Full uniforms must be worn for sparing
